Combat Malnutrition

Malnutrition has been the biggest worry for India since years. Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2020 reports that India has 14% undernourished children below the age of 5 and 34.7% stunted children under the same age.

The under 5 mortality rate of India stands 3.7%, as per GHI. 68 percent of child deaths under five years in India is caused by malnutrition in 2017.

Malnutrition reduces immunological capacity to defend against diseases, recurrent infections in turn reduce the body from mandatory nutrients which may lead to abnormal growth or faltering growth of a child.

Why not we resolve this issue by providing adequate quantity and good quality food for the undernourished.
